The Art of the Hand-Off
-
Bring it pretty, please 💫
We’re talkin’ freshly cleaned, folded like you care, and packed in something sturdy (no sad plastic bags, please). Clothes should smell good, look sharp, and feel like they’re ready for a second chance at love. Zip those zippers, button those buttons, wipe down those shoes — your items should roll in looking like they’ve got a hot date with our racks. 💃✨

Give Us a Sec to Work Our Magic ✨
We’ll take about 10–15 minutes to sift, sort, and swoon over your stuff — picking out the gems we know will fly off the racks. We’ve got a sharp eye for stains, rips, funky smells, missing buttons, and the occasional fashion flop. Don’t take it personal — we’re just here to find the best match for our shop (and your wallet). 😉

Cha-Ching, Baby 💸
Once we set up your account, you’ll get an email to log in to your own little money-making portal. Track what’s sold, what’s still waiting for its big moment, and how much cash you’ve racked up. Redeem your earnings anytime — treat yourself in-store or grab the goods via Venmo. Either way, your closet’s working overtime. 🛍️✨

No Appointments, Ever
Stop by and say heeeeeey!
We're open and always happy to see you. Consignment drop-offs are welcome Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 AM to 5 PM.
How Consignment Works at Sunny & Olive Co.
At Sunny & Olive Co., we make selling your gently loved items simple, transparent, and worth your time. We’re a curated secondhand boutique focused on quality, style, and sustainability - which means we’re selective about what we accept so we can keep our shop fresh, relevant, and exciting for shoppers.
The Basics
Bring in your items during our open intake days/hours (no appointment needed unless otherwise noted)
We review and price items same day
Your items go straight to the sales floor
You earn a percentage when your items sell
***Because of our growth, we no longer pull unsold items for return. You are always welcome to stop in and pick up your unsold items before the end of their selling period.
What We’re Looking For
We focus on pieces our customers are actively shopping for. Think current styles, great condition, and brands people recognize and love.
We Love:
Trend-forward and seasonal pieces
Mall brands (Abercrombie, Aritzia, Free People, Zara, etc.)
Boutique brands
Elevated basics and everyday staples
Clean, modern denim styles
Unique or standout pieces
Men’s and women’s clothing (all sizes)
Items should be:
Clean and freshly laundered
In excellent condition (no stains, holes, pilling, or excessive wear)
Within the last 1-2 years in style (with some exceptions for standout vintage)
What We Don’t Accept
To keep our racks curated and moving, we pass on items that don’t align with our shop or customer demand.
We Typically Do Not Accept:
Fast fashion basics (Shein, Temu, etc.)
Target, Old Navy, Kohls, Walmart
Older styles that feel dated
Worn, faded, or damaged items
Items with pet hair, odors, or heavy fragrance
Formalwear or business professional pieces (unless currently trending)
Undergarments
How to Prep Your Items
Prepping your items well makes a huge difference in what we’re able to accept.
Before bringing items in:
Wash and dry everything
Remove pet hair and lint
Fold items neatly in a tote or basket (no trash bags, please)
Double check for stains, holes, and missing buttons
First impressions matter — items that come in clean and organized are much easier for us to review and get onto the floor quickly.
What to Expect During Drop-Off
We’ll review your items as quickly as possible
Not all items will be accepted — and that’s okay!
Accepted items are priced based on brand, condition, and current demand
Items are put out on the sales floor right away
We do our best to keep things efficient, especially during busy seasons. Your patience and thoughtful item selection help us keep the process smooth for everyone.
Payouts
When your items sell, you earn a percentage of the selling price. Your balance can be:
Used as store credit
Cashed out via Venmo
A Few Helpful Tips
Bring in-season items for the best chance of acceptance
Think like a shopper: would you buy this today?
Fewer, better items are always better than large batches of lower-quality pieces
We’re so grateful you choose to consign with us. You’re helping give great clothing a second life while supporting a more sustainable way to shop — and we think that’s pretty cool.
